Terms
Last updated 27 October 2026
These are the terms for using Datefix. They're written to be read. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to them. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Who you're dealing with
Datefix is provided by Ardenlyx Health Group Ltd (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@datefix.app.
Who can use Datefix
- You must be 18 or over.
- Accounts are personal. Don't share yours or use someone else's.
What Datefix does, and doesn't do
Datefix uses AI to give you feedback and suggestions on your dating profile, photos, prompts and conversations. It's advice. What you do with it is up to you.
- We don't guarantee matches, replies or dates. We can help you show up better; we can't control who swipes on you.
- AI output can be wrong. It can misread a screenshot, get a detail wrong, or give advice that doesn't suit you. Check anything before you rely on it, especially facts about you, venues and opening times.
- We never edit faces or bodies, and we won't help you misrepresent how you look.
Plans and payment
- Datefix has two plans: £6.99 a week or £14.99 a month, including VAT where it applies. There's no free plan and no free trial. The free preview shows your score and fix headlines only.
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the payment and may charge a fee.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each week or month and are charged to the card you paid with, until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- If a payment fails, the paid features lock until you update your card. We'll try the payment again for a short time before the plan ends.
- We'll tell you in advance if prices change. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from the Account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the week or month you've already paid for, and then the plan ends.
- We don't refund partial periods, apart from the first-month refund below. If you cancel halfway through a week or month, you aren't charged again, but you don't get money back for the time that's left.
- Monthly plan, first month: cancel within 14 days of your first monthly payment and we'll refund the unused days on request. Email hello@datefix.app from the address on your account. We refund the days left in that first month, worked out from the date you ask, to the card you paid with.
- Your 14-day cancellation right. Consumer law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a new digital service. When you subscribe, you ask us to start straight away and you acknowledge that you lose that right once we've started providing the service, which happens as soon as your plan unlocks. If something goes wrong with a payment or the service doesn't work, email us and we'll put it right.
- Deleting your account cancels your plan immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period. See the privacy notice for what gets deleted.
What you can upload, and acceptable use
When you use Datefix you agree to:
- Upload your own dating profile and photos of yourself, except where a feature asks for something else (see the next point).
- Only upload someone else's profile or a chat with them if they shared it with you on a dating app, and use the result only to decide how to talk to them.
- Not upload anything showing anyone under 18, sexual content, or anything illegal.
- Not use Datefix to harass, deceive, stalk or impersonate anyone.
- Not try to break, overload, scrape or copy Datefix, get round the paywall or the preview limit, or reverse-engineer it.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. If we do, we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Datefix to you, as described in the privacy notice. You can use the rewrites and other text Datefix gives you however you like.
If something goes wrong
- We aim to keep Datefix running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features. If we remove something that's a main part of what you're paying for, we'll let you cancel and refund any period you haven't used.
- We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses: Datefix is for personal use.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 14 days before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep any consumer rights the law where you live gives you that can't be changed by agreement. If you have a complaint, email hello@datefix.app first and we'll try to sort it out.
